Chillcloud approached Willowrain, flicking her tail. "May I speak with you?" she asked. Willowrain grunted as she got up. "Fine." Chillcloud nodded, and they headed deep into the territory. "In case you forgot, I'm pregnant, remember?" Willowrain hissed. Chillcloud sat down. "That's exactly what I wanted to talk about." She paused. "I'm pregnant."
Willowrain blinked, then threw back her head and laughed. "Ha! Who's the father, Badgerclaw? You two have been spending a lot of time together." Chillcloud shook her head. "No. Some rogue I don't even know." she sighed. "Please, Willowrain. I need your help." Willowrain narrowed her eyes. "What's in it for me?" Chillcloud twitched an ear. "Willowrain, you're my only hope. Please." Chillcloud begged. Willowrain flicked her tail. "I take pity on you, Chillcloud. I shouldn't, but I do. A sharp and killer pain bolted through Moonshines side, making a light flash across her eyes as her snow white coat burned into a black silky one. Her purple eyes beamed with remorse as she thought of Firestorm, her heart aching for him as she remembered her omen that she was told when she was a kit. "Once true love pain hits you, you will turn dark. You will feel evil burn inside of you and black will turn white. All hell inside of you will break loose." She remembered the dark words of the Female Castor that had told her this. "You are one of many kit, and you will rain with us to destroy the clans!" Those were the castor's final words, really all the Moonshine remembered. She remembered what she know had to call herself. Darkshine.
